King Richard III tourism aims to bring more visitors to England

King Richard III Tour of England is a 6-day/5-night tour which includes tours to William Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Bosworth Battlefield, Warwick Castle, King Richard III Visitor Centre in Leicester and Leicester Cathedral along with Blue Badge guided walking tours of Coventry and Leicester, and a medieval banquet.

A brand new campaign has been started to promote King Richard III’s literary, archaeological and historical connections with Stratford-upon-Avon, York and Leicester to international travelers coming to England.

The King Richard III Tour of England tour has been launched to travel trade delegates coming to the United Kingdom inbound annual convention in Leicester from 11th to 13th February, 2015. The new tour has been made as well as co-ordinated by Leicester Shire Promotions.

According to reports, Leicester Shire Promotions’ Chief Executive Martin Peters told that the new Tour tells the full story of King Richard III, from his literary and historical connections, through to his death, discovery and reinterment in March this year. They are happy to have worked very closely with colleagues in Stratford and York to develop the Tour and are sure that it would be more than popular with overseas inbound travel visitors.
